Stork-billed Kingfisher
Pelargopsis capensis
Identification - Stork-billed Kingfisher is the largest kingfisher found in Sri Lanka. A huge red bill, a light brown crown, white chin and throat, yellowish-orange breast and belly, Yellowish-orange nape, blue upperparts and bright blue rump Can be seen as single or in pairs.
Voice -
Nesting - Nest in tree holes or holes in banks of water bodies.
