Sri Lanka is an island rich in Bio-diversity. There is a large range of forest and reserves varying from Low Country Wet & Dry Zone up to the Hills. There are about 7500 plant species contributing the bio-diversity of Sri Lanka out of them more than 800 species are endemic. Out of 119 mammal species 21 are endemic. 526 bird species 34 endemic species contribute for the rich bio-diversity. Therefor we should try to protect the rich bio-diversity source.
